The San Francisco Giants have signed former Toronto Blue Jays 2nd baseman Cavan Biggio to a minor league contract after being released by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Giants are signing Cavan Biggio to a minor league deal

Biggio has already reported to the Sacramento River Cats, the Giants Triple-A affiliate. Biggio has had a tough season after being traded to the Dodgers from the the Toronto Blue Jays. He has a slash line of 197/.316/.306 with 5 home runs and 70 K's in 72 games between the Blue Jays and Dodgers.

Hopefully a change of scenery will be good for him and he can perform well in the minors to find his way back to the Majors this season.
