The Toronto Blue Jays took on the Baltimore Orioles this afternoon and future hall of famer Max Scherzer had his first start for Toronto which went as poorly as it possibly could.

Blue Jays get awful news regarding Scherzer as he is pulled against the Orioles
The Blue Jays lost their second game of the season to the Baltimore Orioles with Max Scherzer on the mound but no one seems to be concerned about the loss but more about Scherzer who was pulled after 3 innings due to his injury.
After the game, John Schneider stated that they pulled Shcerzer out because he did not feel right and that he was starting to feel pain in his lat since it was compensating for his injured thumb.
Max Scherzer says he told John Schneider there was «imminent danger» after 3 innings so they played it safe and got him out of there.
«This is 100% related to the thumb,» Scherzer said. Body compensting for thumb & lat was picking up too much of the slack.
Scherzer recently stated that because he thumb has been hurting, he has been changing the way he pitches which he knows can end up injuring him even more which seemed to have happened today.
Max Scherzer left the game with what the team said is "right lat soreness."
A few days ago, Scherzer said this when asked about thumb area: "this region affects your whole arm, not just your form, but all the way to your triceps, into your shoulder and into your lat, too."
