Buffalo Bisons catcher Payton Henry took a bat to the back of the head last game in a scary moment that sent him straight to the hospital and cancelled the game.
Henry seemed to be responsive once arriving to the hospital the night of the accident in Syracuse. The team just announced that the catcher has been discharged from the hospital as he continue to recover but everything seems fine for the time being.

"Payton Henry has been discharged from the hospital and is doing well as he continues to rest and recover.
We want to express our great gratitude to the Syracuse Mets organization and the medical support team at Upstate University Hospital for their assistance and support for Payton in his time of need."
The Bisons also released a message thanking the Syracuse hospital for their great assistance and support with Henry's injury.
