Blue Jays announce big roster moves ahead of the September 1st expansions

On the September 1st, rosters in the MLB get 2 available spots boosting roster for 26 players to 28.

Ahead of this expansion, the Blue Jays have announced some roster moves, calling up Nathan Lukes while optioning Steve Berroa back down to Triple-A.

ROSTER MOVES:

OF Nathan Lukes recalled from Triple-A and will be active tonight

OF Steward Berroa optioned to Triple-A

This will be the first time Lukes is called up by the Blue Jays since early May but it should be interesting to see how he does as he has been on fire in Triple-A.
