The Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen fractured his wrist this week against the Pirates and was announced to be week-to-week. Jansen had a follow up doctor's appointment in which he was reassured that it was nothing serious and will be able to play depending on how he feels in a few weeks.

The Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen was hit by a pitch this week against the Pirates and fractured his wrist.
Manager John Schneider announced today that Jansen had a positive doctor's appointment today where they reassured him that nothing was displaced and that he should be back in action within a few weeks.
