Blue Jays broadcaster Buck Martinez weighs in on Vladimir Guerrero Jr's slump
Toronto Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr has been having a rough time at the plate lately and broadcaster Buck Martinez recently weighed in on the situation.
The Blue Jays have been having a tough time when it comes to offense these last few weeks and Guerrero has been part of that as he has been having a tough time getting extra base hits.

Guerrero has been having a rough time at the plate at possibly the worst time possible as the playoffs are right around the corner and he has been batting under .200 in his last 7 games.
Martinez was recently on Sportsnet the Fan and spoke of these struggles stating that Guerrero needs to stop trying so hard to get such a big hit and focus more on just making contract.
"[Vladimir Guerrero Jr.]'s trying to come up with the big hit, and sometimes, you have to try easier. It's no good to try harder."

Blue Jays manager John Schneider had some very similar comments for Guerrero stating but he took a different approach stating that he needs to hit the ball hard.
