Blue Jays clobber the Rays after an offensive resurgence
After two losses in a row, the Toronto Blue Jays were looking for a huge win against the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday. Thanks to their bats, the team was able to come through with a massive blowout victory.
On Opening Day, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., George Springer, and Cavan Biggio hit home runs to propel the Jays to an 8-2 victory. Overall, it was a massive win that had fans fantasizing about a season filled with incredible offense. Unfortunately, on Friday and Saturday, the Jays were only able to manage three runs in two games. However, on Sunday, the Blue Jays clobbered the Rays by a score of 9-2.
