Blue Jays manager John Schneider gives worrying injury update on Bo Bichette

The Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette left the game against the Giants yesterday after tweaking the calf he injured a few weeks ago during the second inning.
Bichette made a strange movement catching Kirk's throw from the plate to pick off the runner which caused Bichette to make an awkward step. Manager John Schneider said Bichette wanted to stay in but management did not want to take the chance.
Bo Bichette tweaked his calf on this back-pick attempt B2.
"First step kind of caught him a little bit. He wanted to stay in. He's a gamer. I just I didn't want to take a chance," said Blue Jays manager John Schneider.
Bichette was on the IL with a right calf strain June 15-24.

The star shortstop had an MRI done last night and the team is still awaiting results.
