Blue Jays manager John Schneider has some big praise for outfielder George Springer after an incredible 3 run homerun against the Mariners.
Springer tied the game up with his homerun which led to the Blue Jays winning the game. Schneider spoke on Springer after the game stating that despite his offensive struggles to start the season, he was never upset on defense or in the clubhouse and now that he is productive at the plate, other players are following his lead.
“What goes unnoticed is when he was struggling, he was the same guy on defence and in the clubhouse… when he's going, it's easy for the offence to be contagious a little bit.”

Clearly Schneider has a ton of faith in Springer since despite all the negative comments towards him, Schneider kept stating that he knows Springer will turn it around, which he did.
