Blue Jays minor league team has season finale cancelled

The Blue Jays farm system has come a long way this season as they have jumped 7 spots in the MLB ranking since the start of the season but their team in Dunedin still had a rough year.

The Dunedin Blue Jays were supposed to have their final game of the season yesterday against the Bradenton Marauders but that unfortunately did not end up happening.

The season finale at LECOM Park was cancelled due to weather inclement and the game will not be made up.

The Dunedin Blue Jays will finish their season with an average 60-66 record on the season and ended up missing the playoffs.

This is a tough way for the season to come to an end for many young players that were playing in their first season of professional baseball.

The Blue Jays farm system jumped from 27th to start the year to 20th but their minor league teams still struggled this year as even the Buffalo Bisons will miss the playoffs, as they currently have a 56-78 record on the season.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats in Double-A will also miss the playoffs as they are currently in last place with a 50-81 record.

Hopefully the Blue Jays minor league teams will have a better season in 2026.
