The Blue Jays decided to put bring Little into the game in the 8th inning with the Seattle Mariners top of the order up and fans could not believe the decision and it went as expected as it led to the 6-2 loss.
In the clubhouse, Little faced the music and spoke to reporters about his performance stating that he was beyond disappointed in himself and that he could not have pitched any worse.
"The team battled all game, to put us in a position to win and came in and really couldn't have pitched worse."

Brendon Little comments on his performance in Game 5 of the ALCS.
Blue Jays fans did give Little credit for standing in there and answering all the reporters questions while taking accountability for his rough performance.
I'll give Brendon Little this one thing:

Talking to the media after what just went down takes stones. Real stones. I will give him that, and only that.
Little was unfortunately put in an impossible situation as he simply is not the pitcher for those type of moments and John Schneider put him in there any way.
The Blue Jays now have a must win game on Sunday night in Toronto or they will be headed home as they Los Angeles Dodgers await the American League winners.
