The Blue Jays lost 5-4 yesterday to the Rays and after the game, pitcher Kevin Gausman spoke to the media about his team.
Gausman told reporters that the Blue Jays need to be more fiery out there as he believes the team in lacking passion on the field. The Blue Jays ace also added that he believes he should have stayed on IL longer and rushed to come back for the start of the season.
I've always had the utmost respect for this guy but yesterday that INCREASED!
He spoke post-game saying the #BlueJays need to be more fiery & he said he should've started on the IL.
He always puts in 100% effort and we are so lucky to have him!

It is clear that Gausman was dissapointed with his team after he had a decent performance giving up 8 hits and 3 earned runs in 6 innings pitched with 6 strikeouts. Gausman kept the Jays in the game but once again, their offense was not able to deliver.
