The Toronto Blue Jays have had a hell of a season to date, but in more lighthearted news, there has been a group photography club beginning in the clubhouse, started by Kevin Gausman.

Now, it has extended to teammates Bowden Francis and Chris Bassitt.
The whole hobby started from Gausman's wife who is a lifestyle photographer and it has apparently been growing in the clubhouse.

New photography club in Toronto Blue Jays clubhouse is gaining traction.

Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet decided to step away from all the baseball talk with the Blue Jays, and reported about a different passion surrounding the Blue Jays players. The hobby started from Gausman's wife who's a lifestyle photographer, and Gausman gave it a shot during the pandemic.
"«Oh, she thinks I'm terrible,» Gausman says. «It's funny because I'll buy a new camera and she's like, 'You don't even know what you're doing with the camera you already have!' She's a fan of me getting into it because it's something that we can do together. But she's also like, 'You don't know anything.'»-Gausman

The pastime kept gaining popularity through Francis and Bassitt, who were avid photographers as well, and eventually they were bringing their cameras on road trips and going out on their free time, assistant athletic trainer Voon Chong also joined in on the fun.
"«We all have different styles, it's kind of cool. Me and Voon are more into street photography. Bass is more landscape and animals. And then Gaus is a little bit of everything,». «Depending on where we're going, we'll go check out different parts of the city. Or see if maybe there's a cool waterfall or something naturey nearby for us to do in the morning before we go to the field."-Francis

The Blue Jays are on a roll this season, and while all the news has been surrounded about them on the field, it is nice to see what players get up to off the field, and how they get away from the game.
