Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts spoke to the media yesterday night after landing in Los Angeles and spoke on the team's travel issues.

The Blue Jays landed in Los Angeles last night as well as manager John Schneider spoke with reporters, confirming that Bichette would be getting the start at second base tonight.

Dave Roberts states the Dodgers had issues leaving Toronto

Roberts met with the media yesterday evening and was quick to point out how it was not easy to cross the border then added that he was not sure if the delays were intentional.
Asked about the trip from Toronto to LA, Dave Roberts said:

"I don't want to get too far into it. I just arrived about 30 minutes ago. So there was some delays. I don't know if there was intent or not. But, man, the international stuff was a bear. But we made it. We made it."
After these comments from Roberts, reporter Ben Nicholson-Smith came quick to Toronto's defense stating that if the Dodgers ran into issues at the border today it would have been US customs since they were entering the US yesterday.
If the Dodgers ran into issues today, it would presumably have been on the US customs side as they were re-entering the US today.

Either way, international travel is not a new part of Major League Baseball, which has had teams in Canada for the last 57 seasons.
Nicholson-Smith also added that the Blue Jays cross the border more than any other team in the league and added that both the Yankees and Mariners did not have a single problem.
All 30 MLB teams have gruelling travel schedules. Dodgers included. This sport is wild.

Just not sure Dave Roberts' comments really land when the Blue Jays cross the border way more often than any other team. Yankees & Mariners didn't complain. Just part of the gig.
