The MLB announced the starters for the upcoming all-star game and people are not happy that Toronto Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr is starting at first base.
The Blue Jays are currently on a seriously hot run with last night's win as they are tied for first the AL East with the New York Yankees but despite that, Guerrero has been struggling lately.
Fans are pissed that Blue Jays Vladimir Guerrero Jr was voted as an all-star game starter
The MLB announced the starters for the 2025 MLB all-star game for both the American and National league in which Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr was voted as the starter at first base.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is the AL's All-Star starting 1B for the 4th time in 5 years!
Full starters for the American League All-Star team:
C: Cal Raleigh, SEA 1B: Vladimir Guerrero Jr., TOR 2B: Gleyber Torres, DET SS: Jacob Wilson, ATH 3B: Jose Ramirez, CLE OF: Aaron Judge, NYY OF: Riley Greene, DET OF: Javier Báez, DET DH: Ryan O'Hearn, BAL
Fans were quick to point out how Guerrero does not deserve to be a starter over Paul Goldschmidt and that the fans voting system for all-star games should be switched since it is not a good system.
Jon, respectfully what has goldy done better than Vladdy at this year? Doesnt Vladdy have avg HR RBI OBP SLG?
Even a Blue Jays fan pointed out how Guerrero has not been playing well over his last few games as he currently has 3 hit in his last 12 at bats.
Despite all the hate Guerrero is receiving online, it will not change the fact that for the fourth time in five years he will be an all-star game starter for the American League.
