Former Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier has emotional interview with Hazel Mae after winning World Series

The Blue Jays traded Kiermaier at the trade deadline to the Dodgers for pitcher Ryan Yarbrough as they hoped he would be able to get a chance at winning a World Series before he retired at the end of the season and it looks like the plan worked out.

Kiermaier got the storybook ending he was looking for last night as he is set to announce his official retirement shortly after an incredible career being one of the best defensive outfielders of the 2010's.

After winning, Blue Jays reporter Hazel Mae found Kiermaier of the field to congratulate him on the incredible win and asked him how it felt to be part of such an incredible team which Kiermaier gave an incredibly humble response.

It looks like it is the end for the road for Kiermaier as he gets to go out on top, as a World Series champion and despite not getting to play in the World Series, he still will get to retire knowing he was a champion.

Blue Jays fans flooded social media to congratulate him on this incredible ending to his career and wished him nothing but the best in retirement.
