The hockey and sports community received tragic news this morning as it was announced that superstar Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew Gaudreau passed away in a car accident while they were biking.

Following the heartbreaking news this morning, the Gaudreau released a statement thanking the everyone for their kind messages but announcing that they currently need their time and space.

This is a truly heartbreaking story as two young men were taken way too young and both of them meant a great deal to a lot of people.
