Genesis Cabrera has been suspended for this many games

From there, Cabrera and Caballero got into a shoving match. It all ended with Cabrera shoving Caballero in the face.

After the game, Cabrera admitted that he was out of line. He noted that it was an overreaction and that he has no underlying issues with Caballero. Furthermore, he said that he doesn't think a suspension would be warranted. Well, Major League Baseball is in disagreement with Cabrera. Today, they hit him with a three-game suspension and a fine.

Cabrera and the Blue Jays are looking to appeal the suspension, and a decision will be made this week. As for the fine, the full amount has not been disclosed. Either way, it was yet another stroke of bad luck for a Blue Jays team that has struggled since their win on Opening Day.
