The Toronto Blue Jays biggest issues right now are with their pitchers despite their hot streak as players such as Jeff Hoffman have not been playing well at all and the team is starting to get fed up.

The Blue Jays need Jeff Hoffman to find his game

The Blue Jays brought Hoffman in to replace Jordan Romano as their closer and signed him to a three year $33 million contract which is starting to look like a mistake as Romano has been on fire in Philadelphia while Hoffman continues to struggle.
Hoffman has been able to stay healthy this season which has not been the case for many of the Blue Jays pitchers but since putting up solid numbers to start the season he has been brutal over the last two months.
Closer Jeff Hoffman has been able to stay healthy, unlike the other big free agent additions, but his production fell off a cliff after a strong start to his tenure north of the border. -Teape

In the month of May, Hoffman had a brutal 13.50 ERA after putting up a 1.17 ERA in the month of March/April which shows just how big the drop off has been.
In May, he recorded an ugly 13.50 ERA and blew three saves. That dud followed a March/April in which he had a 1.17 ERA and converted six saves. -Teape

Over his last 7 games, Hoffman has a 6.35 ERA in 5.2 innings pitched which is a lot better than 13.50 but at the same time, a lot more is expect from a reliever who makes $11 million per season.
Hoffman seems to be in perfect health with no underlying injuries but for some reason cannot seem to find his game.
If he is unable to turn things around, it would not make much sense for the Blue Jays to keep him around.
