Blue Jays pitcher Alek Manoah had his second start of the season yesterday against the Twins and surprised everyone as he had a great game, going scoreless in 6 of 7 innings, however the Jays ended losing 5-1.
Manager John Schneider spoke to the media after the game regarding Manoah saying the organization has a lot of faith in him despite recent struggles and after yesterday's performance, they truly believe he can still pitch in the Majors.
“It's what we're used to seeing out of him,” said manager John Schneider. “We've spent a lot of time talking about his pitches and his delivery. I said after his last start: his stuff is there. And I think today he was just in the zone and got on a good roll.”

Most fans already knew the team had faith in Manoah since they have been giving him a lot of time to try and recapture his abilities from the 2022 season. Hopefully this is the first of many great games this season for the former All-Star but unfortunately fans will need to see more solid performances before changing their mind.
This has not been an easy journey over the last two years for Manoah but it has been just as hard on the fans that have been patiently waiting.
