Jose Berrios was not pleased after a brutal Opening Day which he makes clear during interview
The Toronto Blue Jays took on the Baltimore Orioles yesterday afternoon in a crushing loss which starting pitcher Jose Berrios was not pleased with his performance.
The Blue Jays are coming off an incredible Spring Training where they were the top team in the Grapefruit League but unfortunately had a disaster of a start to the season this afternoon.
Jose Berrios was not happy with how he played on Opening Day against the Orioles
The 2025 season started yesterday afternoon as the Blue Jays took on the Orioles at the Rogers Centre in a brutal 12-2 loss where they did not seem to have anything going for them.
After the game, starting pitcher Jose Berrios was not pleased with his performance as he stated that he failed and could not throw any quality pitches despite going into the game very calm.

Even the fans were no pleased with how Berrios played as they were all over him on social media pointing out that he seemed all over the place on the mound during the game.
Berrios has zero command today. Two seamer isn't in the zone, meanwhile the slurve has consistently been hung right in the middle of the plate. Changeup hasn't been sharp either.
Berrios ended his day pitching 5 innings in which he gave up a total of 9 hits and 6 runs while striking out 5 batters to give him a 10.80 ERA on the day.
