Kevin Kiermaier issues compelling statement regarding being placed on waivers

The Blue Jays won their game yesterday 5-3 against the Giants but the big news came after the game after outfielder Kevin Kiermaier was placed on revocable waivers.
Kiermaier told reporters after the game that it was definitely a wake up call for him and that he will try to embrace whatever time he has left with the team as it could come to an end quickly.
«It's more of a wake-up call than anything saying, 'Hey, I don't know how much time I do have left here'I'm going to embrace everyone around hereand see what happens.»

Fans will be sad to see him go since he has been great defensively for the Blue Jays despite struggling at the plate this season.
