Massive injury update regarding Toronto Blue Jays Daulton Varsho

The Toronto Blue Jays have started the season without their Gold Glove winning outfielder Daulton Varsho as he is still recovering from off-season surgery.
Varsho did great at the plate in Spring Training hitting multiple homeruns but the Blue Jays decided to start the season off with him on IL since he was not ready to start fielding just yet.

While Blue Jays fans cannot wait to get Varsho back in the lineup, there has been a silver lining in all of this as rookie Alan Roden has gotten a ton of playing time since Varsho is still out.
MLB reporter Hazel Mae announce last night that Varsho hit live BP yesterday and has been throwing from 150 feet away which is a great step forward, the team is expecting him to return to the field half way through April.

*Daulton Varsho hit live BP today and played catch after throwing from 150 ft yesterday. Hope is by the middle of this month, Varsho will be able to throw from the OF.

Fans are hoping that when Varsho finally returns to the lineup, he will be bringing that same offensive flare he had in Spring Training since it would be huge for the Blue Jays offense.
DAULTON VARSHO WANTS OPENING DAY
It will be interesting to see when Varsho finally returns if the Blue Jays will be taking Alan Roden out or if they will attempt to pull George Springer since he is by far the weakest outfielder right now.
Regardless, fans cannot wait to have Varsho back in the outfield.
