The MLB announced Kevin Pillar has officially reached 10 years of active service in the Majors which means his pension is fully secured.

Pillar began the season as a free agent after being released by the White Sox and was then signed by the Angeles to replace Mike Trout following a big injury. The Former Blue Jay has been on fire for the Angeles this season and was now able to achieve this great accomplishment.
Congrats on the 10 years of MLB service time, Kevin Pillar!
The 35 year old took to social media prior to his game to thank all the fans and friends who reached out to congratulate him on the milestone.
Thank you to everyone who reached out today. It means the world to me and I can't thank you enough for making me feel special. Much love to everyone.
This thank you message proves how humble and great of a person Pillar is off of the field despite having a ton of success on it.
