It's been a few days since Vladimir Guerrero junior signed his new contract with the Toronto Blue Jays which has revealed some new perks that will come to the first baseman.

Besides the $500 million he will be receiving and the $325 million signing bonus, he will be receiving four premium tickets for each home game and will also have a full suite included in his contract at the Rogers Centre.

Guerrero Jr's contract third largest in Major League Baseball

He will be receiving the $325 million signing bonus over 15-year installments Which includes $17 million in 2026 and 2027. After those years, the bonus will slowly drop roughly one million a year until it's fully paid by 2039.
Guerrero junior will also receive award bonuses that were not revealed since the contract has been announced.
This contract and the talks that surrounded it had shrouded this organization within a dark cloud as many Blue Jays fans felt that this was not possible and that Guerrero junior would walk to free agency at the end of the season.
Just prior to the beginning of spring training, the narrative between the Blue Jays in Guerrero junior gave the impression that the number was too big and bridging the
gulf was very difficult.
After the season began, many took note that Guerrero junior began to speak quite often about his contract even though he stated that it would not become a distraction.
And within a week or two the contract was signed in this chapter in Blue Jays history will now be written as Vladimir Guerrero junior will be a blue Jay for his entire career.

Attention turns to a successful season for Blue Jays

Their attention is where it belongs which is on the field and in the dugout where the Blue Jays offence and defence are showing signs of coming together.
The Blue Jays finally get their franchise superstar, reportedly agreeing to a 14-year contract extension with Vladimir Guerrero Jr.@jonmorosi dives into how the Jays and Vlad got to the deal, which has no deferrals and a full no-trade clause.
Over the last several games, especially against the Boston Red Sox the Blue Jays received sufficient offense and great defence which allowed them to take three games out of four and had a lead against the Baltimore Orioles in game 2 of their shortened series.
If the Blue Jays were to win their final game against the Orioles on April 13th, they would have gone .500 in the 10-game road trip and would return to the Rogers Centre to take on the Atlanta Braves.
Hopefully, the team will continue to build their confidence and put more wins together especially early in the season.
