There were high expectations for the Toronto Blue Jays to make the playoffs and make a run for the World Series this offseason, though, with over 30 games into the season, only 2 teams have seen a larger decline in odds to make the postseason.

Since the season began, only HOU & STL have seen their playoff odds decline more substantially than the Blue Jays (was 51.3%, now 23%). Jays' run differential is -46, ahead of just CWS, MIA, COL. As of this morning, FanGraphs projected standings have Blue Jays finishing 81-81.

Only the Houston Astros (12-23) and St. Louis Cardinals (15-21) have experienced worse starts to the season compared to expectation.

The Blue Jays odds have dropped more than 25%, a shocking reality that all fans have to make peace with.

Their was a closed door meeting today, which always means something serious. We will see if any big changes come out of it.

A closed-door meeting. Last in the AL East. The Blue Jays limp home and squint hard to see positive signs
