The Toronto Blue Jays have been riding quite the hot streak lately and one player that has been outstanding in the past month is veteran pitcher Kevin Gausman.
The Blue Jays have been in a tough spot since the beginning of the season as they have been running 4 starting pitchers with different variations to replace Max Scherzer in the past two months.

Gausman came out of the gate not very strong this season but seems to have found his game and consistency since he has been on fire over the last month to the point where he made MLB history.
According to reports, Gausman was so good in the month of May that he joined elite company for strikeouts in a single month with no more than 1 walk, no hit batters or wild pitches in that month as well.

Gausman currently sits at a 3.82 ERA on the season with a 5-4 record in 70.2 innings pitched but his numbers would be even higher if it were not for a slow start to the season.
The 34-year-old Gausman is now 5-4 with a 3.82 ERA this season. He's struck out 68 batters in 70.2 innings (12 starts) for the Jays, who enter play on Tuesday at 31-28 and in second place in the American League East. -Farkas
While a few other Blue Jays pitchers have been struggling lately such as Bowden Francis, Gausman has stepped up in an incredible way to help the team win more games.
