The Toronto Blue Jays seem all in on moving shortstop Bo Bichette this off-season and reports continue to confirm the teams is actively trying to move him.
Bichette has been surrounded by trade rumors for the last few season and after the disaster that was the Blue Jays 2024 season, it looks like the team is finally ready to make a move this off-season.
Blue Jays seem to be all in on trading Bo Bichette according to reports
The 2024 season was disappointing for the entire Blue Jays lineup with the exception of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. but it seem to hit all all time high for Bichette who struggled at the plate and with injuries all year.
In 2024, the Blue Jays were one of the most disappointing clubs in Major League Baseball, finishing in last place in the American League East despite lofty preseason expectations. Aside from superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr., nearly everyone on the roster was a tremendous disappointment. -Roberts
Insider Zach Pressnell believes that despite a tough season in 2024 and Bichette trade stock to have dropped, he believes that the Blue Jays could still get a solid return for the former all-star as he is still very young.
"Bichette is still young and packs a ton of talent, so his value in a trade would be higher than his play was last year, especially with how many teams are going to be looking for a shortstop this Winter," Pressnell said.
"The Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers all come to mind as teams that would be aggressive in trying to acquire Bichette if the Blue Jays opt to move him."

Hopefully if the Blue Jays end up trading him, they will still be able to go and get a solid return for Bichette.
