Former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Marcus Stroman looks like he will be done with the New York Yankees very shortly.
The Yankees were apparently looking to trade Stroman this off-season but after news broke that Gerrit Cole was done for the season, they decided to hold onto him but they seem to have changed their plans.
Yankees are done with former Blue Jays pitcher Marcus Stroman
Stroman had a rough start against the San Francisco Giants yesterday as he was pulled after giving up 5 runs but after the game he was apparently seem leaving the stadium screaming that he is a starting pitcher.
Marcus Stroman reportedly left the Yankees' clubhouse in a hurry after today's rough outing against the Giants, avoiding media and shouting «I'm still a starter.» on his way out.
Due to all these issues there have been reports that the Yankees are done with Stroman as they plan on DFA'ing him once he is off IL which they placed him on after yesterday's loss.
The #Yankees plan to DFA superstar pitcher Marcus Stroman once Clarke Schmidt is back from rehab. Stroman has expressed an unwillingness to move to the bullpen and his recent string of bad luck starts have prompted the Yankees to move on from the broken relationship.
Prior to today's game, the Yankees made the following roster moves:
• Selected RHP Allan Winans (#62) to the active roster.
• Placed RHP Marcus Stroman on the 15-day injured list with left knee inflammation.

This is a bad look for the former Blue Jays ace who looks like he does not have much time left in the MLB if he does not change his attitude and improve his game.
