The Toronto Blue Jays alter starting rotation for series against the Baltimore Orioles

Moments before the game was supposed to start yesterday both the Orioles and Blue Jays announced that the game was cancelled due to rain and was rescheduled for July 29th which will be a double header.

The Blue Jays announced yesterday morning that Bowden Francis was going to be on the mound for yesterday's game followed by Jose Berrios today and Easton Lucas on Sunday.

Since yesterday's game was cancelled, the Blue Jays have decided to change things up as they will have Francis on the mound this afternoon followed by Jose Berrios tomorrow which will likely push Easton Lucas into the Atlanta Braves series.

Due to these changes, this means that Lucas will likely get the first game against the Braves followed by Kevin Gausman for game 2 and Chris Bassitt for game 3 which is another solid lineup.

After the Blue Jays two games in Baltimore, they are set to return to Toronto and will have a six game homestand with series against the Braves and Seattle Mariners before hitting the road again.

Today's game against the Orioles is set to start at 4:05 PM if the weather permits it.

The Blue Jays currently sit in first place of the American League East with a 8-6 record 0.5 games ahead of the New York Yankees who currently have a 7-6 record on the season.
