The Toronto Blue Jays announced some massive roster moves this afternoon involving Anthony Santander and rookie Alan Roden.
Santander has been dealing with injury issue for quite some time now as he has missed a few games and recently stated in an interview that it is still bothering him but he is playing through it.
Blue Jays place Anthony Sanatnder on IL and call up Alan Roden
The Blue Jays just broke the news that they have finally decided to place Santander on IL after his hip has been bothering him for a long time and they have decided to call up rookie Alan Roden to replace him.

Many are hoping that with how Santander has been playing, this break will finally give him the time to get everything back under control because they need a lot more from him than what he has been showing.

Blue Jays have placed OF Anthony Santander on IL (left shoulder inflammation), and have called up OF Alan Roden, per team.
Last time in the majors, Roden really struggled at the plate but hopefully his time in the minors really helped him get back down to basics as his hitting saw a huge improvement which the Blue Jays are hoping to see more of in the majors this time around.
