The Toronto Blue Jays are taking on the New York Yankees tonight and announced that shortstop Bo Bichette has been pulled from the lineup.

The Blue Jays have not been able to stay healthy this season as almost every player on the roster has gone down with an injury at some point this season.

Blue Jays pulled Bo Bichette from the lineup due to an injury

The Blue Jays kick off their series against the Yankees tonight at 7:07 PM and originally had Bichette starting at shortstop while batting lead off when the lineup was first announced.

A BIG week of baseball is ahead

Unfortunately news just broke that the Blue Jays have decided to pull Bichette from the lineup due to a discomfort in his right knee and he has been replaced by Ernie Clement at shortstop.

UPDATE: SS Bo Bichette was removed from tonight's starting lineup with right knee discomfort

This is not good news for the Blue Jays who still have quite a few players on the injured list right now and while the severity of Bichette's injury is still unknown, a knee injury is never a good sign.

Hopefully Bichette is only out because he needs a day off but the team will likely have scans done and release the results once they have them.
