Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho left the game against the Athletics this afternoon and the team announced a concerning update on his injury.

Varsho was rounding second base against the Athletics went he went down in excruciating pain at third base and had to be helped of the field, unable to put any weight on his left leg.

According to Blue Jays manager John Schneider, Varsho injured his left hamstring on the play and is headed to get an MRI right away as they want to see how serious the injury is.

The results of the MRI has yet to be announced but from the way Varsho went down, it certainly does not look good for the Blue Jays as he seemed to be in an immense amount of pain.
Hopefully it is nothing too serious as Varsho has already missed a good portion of the season due to an injury from last year.
