The Toronto Blue Jays have two new incredible young pitchers
The Toronto Blue Jays farm system is seen as one of the worst in the MLB but they definitely have a few bright spots as both Khal Stephens and Trey Yesavage have been dominating in the minors.
Both Stephens and Yesavage were drafted in 2024 and after starting off the year in Dunedin, they were recently promoted to High-A in Vancouver where they have continued their hot streak.
Blue Jays have two seriously good prospects in Trey Yesavage and Khal Stephens
The Blue Jays came out on top at last year's MLB draft as their two top picks were Stephens and Yesavage who were taken in the first and second round of the 2024 MLB draft.
Yesavage was promoted to Vanoucver in the third week of May and in only 12.1 innings pitched, he has a 1.46 ERA to go along with an incredible 24 strikeouts in that short period of time.
In three games with Vancouver, where he is over two years younger than the average player, Yesavage has a 1.46 earned-run average and 24 strikeouts in 12.1 innings. -TSN
Stephens on the other hand was on the mound for Vancouver yesterday and had a career high in strikeouts as he finished the game with 11 strikeouts in 6 innings pitched, giving up only 3 hits and 1 earned run.

If these two young pitchers continue to play like this, they will be in called up to the majors in the next 12 months for sure.
