Toronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer took an awkward swing today against the Baltimore Orioles and ended up hurting his hand on the play and the team has finally announced the results of his X-rays.

During an at bat in the fifth inning of the Blue Jays comeback win against the Orioles, Springer hurt his wrist but finished the at bat which many found very strange before leaving the game.

The Blue Jays announced that Springer had X-Rays done after being removed from the game with a wrist discomfort and the team announced the results after the game.
According to reports, the x-rays came back negative with no signs on damage which means he should not be out for to long as most believe he status is now day to day.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider spoke to the media about the results stating that for now it is the best possible outcome and they will take it day by day to and will see how he feels in a few days.
John Schneider: «A little bit of a zinger ... Best possible outcome so far.»
There is a good chance Springer is not in the lineup tomorrow against the Atlanta Braves who the Blue Jays will host in Toronto as they begin a three game series.
Hopefully Springer being out does not affect the Blue Jays too much as they have been playing very well lately.
