The Toronto Blue Jays announced that legends Joe Carter and Cito Gaston will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitches for gam 1&2 of the World Series.

The Blue Jays announced their roster for the series this morning with Bo Bichette finally back but they have yet to announce where he will be in the lineup.

Toronto will be turning to two legends of the city and the team for the ceremonial first pitcher of game 1 and 2 as Cito Caston will be throwing the ceremonial first pitch tonight ahead of the first game of the World Series.

The Blue Jays also announced that Carter will be taking his turn at the ceremonial first pitch.

To say both of these men are legends in the city is an understatement as both Carter and Gaston were part of the last Blue Jays team to bring a World Series win back to Toronto.
Not only was Carter part of that 1993 team but he was also the hero that hit the game winning home run which is regarded by many as the most iconic moment in Blue Jays history.
