Toronto Blue Jays infielder getting surprising AL All-Star team consideration

The Toronto Blue Jays are currently on a hot streak thanks to multiple players including infielder Ernie Clement who is getting some AL All-Star team considerations.
The MLB All-Star game is set to take place in Atlanta, Georgia this season as the Atlanta Braves will be hosting the game and events on July 14th and 15th in which could involve a few Blue Jays players.

During a recent report, Chad Jennings of the Athletic pointed out how Blue Jays infielder Ernie Clement has been on fire this season and believe that he should be considered for the AL All-Star team due to being Toronto's leader in bWAR and fWar.
«But the Blue Jays' leader in both bWAR and fWAR is, oddly enough, utility man Clement, who's been a slightly above-average hitter while playing all four infield positions. Will he be the team's All-Star representative? Surely not. But this has been one of the harder-to-predict teams in baseball, so maybe,» -Jennings
Clement started off the season in a bit of a slump with 0 homeruns, a .239 batting average and .276 on base percentage in the months of March and April.
Clement was failing to make an impact in March/April, producing a .239/.276/.282 slash line with zero home runs and three doubles in 77 plate appearances. -Teape
However, over the last month, Clement has been on fire with 3 homeruns and 17 RBIs in 105 at bats to go along with a .324 batting average, .368 on base percentage and .486 slugging percentage.
Much like Clement, the Blue Jays have had quite the turn around over the last month thanks to players like him who have stepped up their game in a major way leading to the Blue Jays being one of the hottest teams in the league.
While Clement is far from a lock for the All-Star game, he should definitely be considered for the AL All-Star team with how he has been playing.
