The Toronto Blue Jays biggest problems right now is starting pitcher Bowden Francis who lost once again to the Minnesota Twins yesterday in which manager John Schneider spoke on after the game.

After the 6-3 loss to the Twins, veteran pitchers Kevin Gausman and Chris Bassitt also spoke on Francis making some positive comments about the pitcher, stating that is still learning.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider makes some questionable remarks regarding Bowden Francis

The Blue Jays have been playing extremely well lately but cannot seem to figure out what is happening with Francis as he has given them there only three losses in their last 12 games.
After yesterday's loss, Blue Jays manager John Schneider spoke on the situation stating that they will not be changing anything when it comes to how they use Francis despite his struggles and added that they trust him.
John Schneider shot down the possibility of a change there or of doing something creative like using an opener in front of Francis - «We're kind of doing that with one spot in the rotation already, so you don't want to wear guys out,» said the manager - who added that, «we trust him.» -Schneider

This comments are very questionable since Francis has clearly been very bad this season and it looks like once again Schneider has no plan to do anything to try and switch things up.
Francis spoke to the media after the game and even he admitted that he has been very bad lately and needs to start figuring things out if he wants to keep his spot in the lineup.
«It's frustrating. It's tough. I'm not quitting. But I've got to turn it around,» said Francis. «I feel like the bad ones are where I'm growing and learning. But at the same time, I can't keep digging a hole.

I've got to find a way to get out of it, turn the page, so I can post for the guys that are playing hard. I'm just not doing that right now. I've got to keep grinding it out.» -Francis

Clearly things are not working for Francis and a change is need but for some reason the Blue Jays do not seem to see it that way.
