Blue Jays manager John Schneider speaks on Max Scherzer
Scherzer has been slowly making his way back to the Blue Jays lineup and it looks like he is rapidly approaching coming back as he threw 50 pitches in a sim game today during the Blue Jays loss.
Schneider stated that Scherzer felt good after the session and that he is expected to pitch on a normal day at PDC then they will re-evaluate the situation and go from there.

Scherzer threw all of his pitches and felt good, per Blue Jays manager John Schneider. Next step's a side session in a few days as if taking a normal rotation turn
The Blue Jays just brought up Spencer Turnbull but if he ends up doing well, Toronto will be less pressed to get Scherzer back but if Turnbull puts up similar numbers to those he did in the minors, they will need Scherzer back as soon as possible.
Hopefully the Turnbull situation works out and Scherzer can continue to slowly recover but it does not look promising.
