Toronto Blue Jays regret doing this to Kevin Kiermaier

After the Toronto Blue Jays placed Kevin Kiermaier on waivers for his poor play, it actually was a blessing in disguise.

In his first game back with the Blue Jays, Kevin Kiermaier launched a grand slam that became the game winning deciding runs. He commented on how it felt to be released.

It's been a “weird” few days for Kevin Kiermaier but told me after it was leaked he was put on waivers (and cleared), all he can do is “go out there and play. If it's the end, I'm blessed and grateful” for career.
