Toronto Blue Jays reporter Hazel Mae being praised in latest update
The Toronto Blue Jays locker room celebrations went viral after the team went pretty wild during their interview including manager John Schneider.
After the win, Schneider's post-game speech was caught on camera in which involved quite a bit of profanity that some loved while others believed was not right for all the children watching.
Hazel Mae praised for clubhouse interviews
Hazel Mae was in the clubhouse when the celebrations began to interview as many players as possible and did a phenomenal job while getting beverages poured all over her.
Many sang Mae's praises after seeing how professional she was throughout this entire process.
"Hazel Mae did a spectacular job in that champagne storm last night," TSN's James Duthie said Thursday morning on social media.
"Watching the Jays celebration coverage and all I can say is that Hazel Mae is one of the all-time media greats. Seriously, she is amazing," -Lajoie
Mae was seeing getting drinks poured all over her during her interviews as she was like a memeber of the team in the celebrations but she never broke and continued to ask all the right questions.
While interviewing George Springer, surrounding players poured beer on both her and the Blue Jays designated hitter, treating Mae like a member of the team. She continued asking her question, even as the player she was interviewing was actively pouring beer on her head. -Williams
Another issue she had was dealing with all the players language as they were naturally quite fired up and were not thinking about the words they were saying on national TV which she dealt with incredibly.
"We're not done yet. We're f*cking fired up. We're ready to go," said Gausman, live on the air. "I don't give a sh*t, we're f*cking... let's go. F*ck yeah. Let's go, Canada!" -Gausman
These post-game interviews and precisely why Mae is regarded as one of the best MLB reporters in the league and is so respected by her peers.
