The Toronto Blue Jays are still looking to tweak their starting rotation before which is why it is believed that they could make a move on Boston Red Sox pitcher Walker Buehler.
The Red Sox are nowhere near where they wanted to be this season and there is a good chance that they end up missing the playoffs which is why many see them as sellers at the trade deadline next month.

Buehler is currently have quite the rough season with the Red Sox as he currently has an ERA of 5.18 which is a lot higher than the 3.39 he had with the Los Angeles Dodgers last season.
It is believed that if
Buehler does not start to play better, the Red Sox will look to deal him at the trade deadline and the Blue Jays could be an ideal landing spot for the 30 year old pitcher.
That's why pursuing former two-time World Series champion Walker Buehler from the Red Sox should be a no-brainer.-Eng
The Blue Jays could definitely benefit from adding a two time World Series champion to their roster especially since he has proven to be a consistent pitcher over his career which is something they desperately need.
More importantly, his championship-winning pedigree could go a long way in helping the Blue Jays finally get over the hump. -Eng
Since Bowden Francis cannot seem to figure it out on the mound and Max Scherzer is still out and no one is convinced that he is coming back fully healthy, acquiring a pitcher like Buehler seems like a great move.
One of the most important pieces the Blue Jays need to add as the trade deadline approaches is without question a starting pitcher as it is the area they have struggling with the most lately.
