Tragic news announced as young Canadian baseball prospect passes away

The baseball world received some devastating news as young baseball prospect Jesse Lubiniecki tragically passed away in a car accident Friday.
The 22 year old was currently playing at Taft College as a pitcher but is originally from Regina, Saskatchewan which he was headed back to when the tragic accident occurred.

News broke last night that Canadian baseball pitcher Jesse Lubiniecki passed away in a car accident in Montana as he was headed back to Regina from Taft, California where he currently goes to school.
A Regina native, Lubiniecki, was on his way back to Saskatchewan from Taft, California, when he was involved in a single-vehicle rollover in Rosebud County, Montana. -Sportscage
Lubiniecki just finished up his sophomore season at Taft College and was headed back for the summer to play for the Regina Red Sox.
Lubiniecki was entering his second season with the Sox and just finished his sophomore season at Taft Community College with the Cougars. -Sportscage
The Regina Red Sox released a message last night extending their deepest sympathies to his entire family and that they would be playing their entire season with Lubiniecki in their hearts.

Lubiniecki family.
