Former Cy Young winner Trevor Bauer recently settled the accusations that had gotten him released by the Dodgers in January 2023.
Since being released, Bauer signed in Japan where he played last season putting up impressive numbers with a 2.76 ERA, 130 strikeouts in 130 2⁄3 innings pitched which landed him a spot in the All-Star game.
Bauer settled his legal battle in October, but has yet to be signed by an MLB team which most fans believed would be the case once everything was taken care of.
It was announced today that Bauer would play the first 6 games of the season with the Diablos Rojos of the Mexican league. In one of those 6 games, he will take on the New York Yankees Sunday in Mexico.
The Yankees will face Trevor Bauer on Sunday in Mexico when they take on Diablos Rojos, per @BauerOutage

It will be interesting to see how Bauer does facing Major League ball players for the first time in more than a year and depending on how he does, if a team will take a chance on him.
Should Trevor Bauer be given another chance?
