Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Mookie Betts has been dealing with some serious health issues for the last week according to reports.
The Dodgers have a team stacked with talented players from Shohei Ohtani to Freddie Freeman and Blake Snell but if they lose Mookie Betts for the start of the season it will certainly hurt.
Doders superstar Mookie Betts has been dealing with big health problems
The Dodgers recently went to Japan for a pre season series and apparently starting two days before the trip Betts has been unable to keep any food down at all which looks to be quite a serious problem.
According to reports Betts is now down to 157 pounds which means he has lost 23 pounds in the last week which is a lot of weight for anyone let alone someone as small as Betts.
We've got some kinda scary stuff going on here with Mookie Betts as the season is about to kick off. It's kind of flown under the radar with the weird, fake Opening Day in Tokyo last week but Mookie is definitely going through some shit.
An illness that they just don't know what it is has caused Mookie to drop down to 157 pounds, 23 pounds lost over the last 2 weeks. Now he's not a big guy at all, but my guess is he usually plays somewhere between 175 and 180 pounds?
So losing 23 pounds off your playing weight and not being able to hold down any solid food without puking isn't great at all -RDT

Doctors have been looking into Betts' situation but they do not seem to be sure what is going down with him as of right now but he is continuing to have tests to done to get to the bottom of this.
The Dodgers are hoping that Betts will be ready in time for Openign Day but they are also not going to take any chances as his health is the most important part right now.
