Trout is known as one of the kindest players in the MLB as he always takes time for fans which is why some were surprised by his reaction but when adrenaline is pumping during a game, things are different.
Mike Trout snaps on Astros fan for interfering with a foul ball
During the game, Trout was tracking down a foul ball when he dove into the stands to catch in and a fan ripped the ball out of his glove which had him livid at first since it took away the out.

After the play, the fan apologize to Trout which he was respective of and he deescalated the situation by saying it was no problem which is exactly the type of classy player Trout is.
Can we just pause for a moment and acknowledge this from Mike Trout. While he was pissed the fan grabbed the ball from his glove, after the fan apologized, Trout accepted it and quickly diffused the situation. Such a classy player, and this is why he is universally admired.
To take it a step further as Trout always does, he actually met with the fan and his son after the game to talk and even signed a ball and a bat for the young son after game.
UPDATE: Mike Trout has now met with the fan and his son, after the earlier (debatable) fan interference incident. What a fantastic thing to do. This guy is full of class.
