Dodgers Manager makes big statement about Cavan Biggio and his role on the team

Los Angeles Dodgers Manager Dave Roberts took to the media to give an update on where he sees Cavan Biggio being the most productive for the team.

"He's a baseball player. He's versatile, can play anywhere essentially on the diamond," Roberts said.

"For us right now, Max the injury is taking longer than we had hoped, and so to get some coverage versus right-handed pitching, running him out there at third base is sort of the plan."

Roberts believes Biggio is a good and smart ballplayer that will slotted into the lineup at third base when facing right handed pitching.

Roberts on the Dodgers trying to get Biggio back on track:

"Our hitting guys dug in a little bit and felt that there's some things we can unlock (in) him offensively."

Says Biggio will primarily play 3B vs. RHP

In his first two appearances for the Dodgers, Biggio has gone 1-4 and made 1 error at 3rd base.
