The Pirates young pitcher also had some incredible speed on the mound today as he threw 16 pitches over 100 MPH in his first 2 innings which is the most by any MLB pitcher this season.

Jared Jones, 8
José Soriano, 7
Hunter Greene, 6

The Pirates clearly have a serious pitcher on their hands as Skenes has shown he belongs in this league and could be a Cy Young candidate during his career, if not even a winner.
