Toronto Blue Jays pitching prospect, Grant Rogers of the Vancouver Canadians High-A, had had a remarkable week and was named pitcher of the week.

These honors came just after being promoted to the High-A affiliate of the Blues after spending the majority of the last 2 seasons with the Single-A Dunedin Blue Jays.

He had a historic performance for the Canadians as he set franchise record with 8 scoreless innings a few days ago on August 3rd. His performance has given him a lot of notoriety within the organization .

Rogers was drafted in the 11th round pick by the Blue Jays in the 2023 MLB Amateur Draft, but did not appear in a pro game until late April of last year. The 6'7 RHP accumulated 70 K's and limited opponents to a .238 average in 74 innings before he was promoted recently to the Vancouver Canadians.
