A scary scene took place last night in Buffalo as Bisons catcher was hit in the back of the head with a bat and needed to be carted off.
Henry was hit in the back of the head during the follow through of a swing, due to the severity of the situation, the game was cancelled
After getting struck in the head by the bat on the backswing, Buffalo Bisons catcher Payton Henry left on a backboard in an ambulance. He is currently being evaluated in a Syracuse area hospital according to the team on X.

Reports have come out that Henry is stable and responsive at the Syracuse hospital which is a positive sign right now.
The Bisons say Henry is "alert and appropriately responsive" at a Syracuse hospital undergoing evaluation.
They'll update his condition tomorrow as updates become available.
